About the Work WRITE is a personal project created in collaboration with 23 participants.
The project began with a simple object: a sheet of letter paper I received as a gift. It was plain and unadorned—something that feels increasingly rare today. With its limited lines and narrow margins, it quietly demanded that one write with intention.

Looking at it, I was reminded of how rarely we write by hand now. Most of our words are typed, and even the act of watching a hand write has become unfamiliar. I noticed this change in my own handwriting as well—each time I wrote, it felt more awkward, almost as if the gesture itself was fading.

This led me to focus on the hand holding a pen. Rather than approaching it in a sentimental way, I wanted to observe and capture it with clarity and restraint.
WRITE became a study of this simple yet deeply human gesture—the act of writing by hand.
